Migrate from MAS 90 or MAS 200 to Sage 100 subscription
Effective January 1, 2017, Sage ceased offering new licenses for Sage 100 on-premise licenses, making only the subscription-based Sage 100cloud available to new customers, as well as existing off-plan customers who have not paid their maintenance fee for more than three months. Although current on-plan customers can retain their perpetual license, they will be limited to only basic updates for compliance and other required items. Only 100cloud users will capture the full benefit of Sageโs planned future development for the solution.
SWK recommends that off-plan customers consider migrating to Sage 100cloud right away to get the best value return from their ERP investment. The subscription version of Sage 100 is feature-rich, with a healthy roadmap that continues to deliver dozens of improvements and new enhancements every year.
Starting April 2024, Sage began consolidating the naming structures, transitioning all on-premise and subscriptions versions to “Sage 100” or “Sage 100 SPC,” with the latter denoting an application is hosted in the Sage Partner Cloud.

Sage Partner Cloud or Private Service Provider
The Sage Partner Cloud (SPC) program provides Sage 100 users with a streamlined path to cloud migration while maintaining their existing ERP functionality. While the subscription version launched in 2017 offers cloud connectivity with some integrated SaaS solutions, it remains on-premise – SPC gives Sage 100 customers a pathway into a cloud-hosted environment without sacrificing functionality or integration. This program offers two flexible hosting options: the Sage Provisioning Portal (SPP) for hosting through Microsoft Azure or AWS, or deployment through an accredited Strategic Hosting Provider’s cloud platform.
Sage 100 Manufacturing and Distribution Software Bundles
In May 2020, Sage officially released the Sage 100cloud for Manufacturers and Distributors software bundles, which considerably extended the vertical functionality offered for both industries. These bundled ERP provide native integrations with industry-specific Sage modules, including the new Sage Production Management (PM) and Inventory Requirements Planning (IRP) add-ons released in 2019. PM and IRP replaced the legacy Work Order (WO) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) modules, respectively, and enable users to modernize the supply chain management features in their Sage ERP.
Sage is putting renewed focused into the manufacturing and inventory management solution features available for Sage 100 from 2020 onwards. This includes planned updates for many of these new modules and software bundles, and will only be available to customers on the subscription users of Sage 100cloud.
