Sage 100cloud vs. Sage 100 Cloud Hosting
With the launch of Sage Business Cloud in 2017, Sage Group plc upgraded newer versions of Sage 100 (renamed Sage 100c and later Sage 100cloud) with “cloud connectivity,” meaning that though it would remain an on-premise system it would be able to integrate with external SaaS solutions.
Sage 100 users who do not wish to migrate to Sage 100cloud have the option to migrate their ERP to a hosted environment, either through the Sage Partner Cloud or a CSP that specializes in Sage software.
For more information on the best option for your needs, refer to our blog, Sage 100cloud VS Hosting Sage 100 in the Cloud.
NOTE: As of April 2024, Sage Group plc began simplyfing the naming structure for Sage 100, which includes the future removal of “Sage 100cloud” as a product designation in their catalogue and adding “Sage 100 SPC” to denote customers on Sage Partner Cloud.
