Tip 3: Start Experimenting with AI
With the rise of ChatGPT and image-generation tools, AI has now proven that it is here to stay. Business leaders who are not yet using artificial intelligence to boost their B2C eCommerce sales will soon fall behind their peers – but it is imperative that you use your new powers responsibly. Discover what AI can do for you, how you need to approach it, and start thinking about your options with the information in this section.

- How AI can help with support operations and upselling (8:49)
Tip 4: Sell Everything, Everywhere, All at Once
These days, a single organization has the power to boost sales by creating a multitude of companies, brands, and content that appeals to vastly diverse audiences. Best of all, organizations of any size can affordably and easily generate a fully unique website and eCommerce store for each of their target groups and marketplaces, with no brick-and-mortar startup costs required. If you have tried this before but been overwhelmed by the administrative burden of managing many sites and stores, you will love the handy information in this section.
- Start from the beginning of the section (9:43)
- Hear how Google assesses each of your sites to boost your organic traffic (10:17)
- The benefits of using more than one marketplace (10:45)
- Tip: Learn how much shopping traffic you gain access to with Amazon (11:11)
- How to simplify your administrative burden for multiple sites (11:31)
Tip 5: Get Google to Handle Pre-Sales with Your Optimized Data
For effective sales, your products must be easy to find in an internet search. Unfortunately, many companies do not know how Google and other marketplaces classify and present their eCommerce data to potential customers online. In this section, you will learn about Feedonomics and how it can help you monitor, optimize, and maintain your online product data so you can turbocharge your sales.
This section is filled with fascinating information on how Google “understands” your data, so do not skip this section. We especially recommend the two points below in bold.
- Start from the beginning of the section (13:48)
- Where does the data show that customers really discover a new product? (14:30)
- Top tips to ensure that you get the best return on your online ad spend (16:42)
- Tip: Most brands are doing this one thing wrong with their data. Are you? (18:56)
- How Feedonomics works to drive increased online sales (19:51)
- Discover a real-life example of how Feedonomics uncovered a critical data issue for one customer (20:58)
Tip 6: Know If Your B2C eCommerce Data Is Working for You or Against You
Consider this: If a potential customer types in “men’s Nike gray sneakers size 12” into their Google search bar, we humans can assume that Nike sells those shoes. However, Nike’s site may classify those sneakers as “cross-trainers” in “steel” color – and it is unlikely the shoes will be called “Nike men’s shoes” on their site. Instead, Nike will call them by their internal product name; something like “FalconTrainer Pro.” To Google, this means that Nike sells “FalconTrainer Pro steel cross-trainers, size 12,” which matches very little of the potential customer’s search query. As you can guess, this means that Google will be unlikely to present these perfect Nike shoes to this potential buyer and the sale will be lost.
You do not want this to happen to you.
As we mentioned earlier, many companies do not know whether their data is helping or hurting their sales online. This webinar offers two great ways that you can assess your data right now, for free. We recommend that you take advantage of these options before Black Friday, so you can optimize your data in time for the holiday season.
- Audit your Google Shopping feed data or other marketplace data for free (25:08)
- Schedule your complimentary omnichannel consultation to review your existing data online and get recommendations (26:16)
Tip 7: Play the Long Game When You Move Beyond Tactics to Strategy
Though it may be tempting to start exploring and testing new tactics immediately using what you have learned in this webinar, you must have a good way to measure your results. Hard data helps you allocate your marketing and ad spend toward generating new leads and increasing the commercial lifetime value (CLV) of each of your customers, so you can maximize your B2C eCommerce sales over the long term. This section will help you get started.
- Start from the beginning of the section (27:50)
- Questions to ask your data (28:49)
- How to stay competitive with newer marketing tactics (29:52)
